Is the AI boom accelerating, flattening or turning? The same-company index moves only when a tracked company's mark moves, so admissions to the map and removals from it never move the line. One snapshot per day, from the map's own git history.
Each day's move is taken over the companies present on both that day and the day before, base 100 at the start of the window. The dashed line is the raw total of everything tracked, indexed the same way: the gap between them is coverage growth, not market movement.
Public marks move with the market every trading day. Private marks move in steps when a round closes, so the private line is the slower, cleaner signal of what investors are paying for AI.
Stacked by the map's bands, top to bottom as on the map. Amber ticks on the axis mark days with admissions, removals or a single-day repricing of 25% or more, so a step has a visible cause. Click a band for its companies.
Same bands. A few companies are about half of this panel, which is why it is kept apart from the private one.
