Notes

Irvine, California company (founded 2023) selling what it calls a universal general-purpose brain for robots: its Field Foundation Models are physics-first models meant to run humanoids, robot dogs, drones and industrial rovers off one stack, handling risk and physical constraints in unmapped environments without GPS or a prior map. Revenue plus signed customer contracts has crossed $135M across more than 30 customers. THE MARK IS THE LATEST CLOSED ROUND AND IT IS FOURTEEN MONTHS OLD: consecutive Series A and A1 rounds totalling $405M, announced 2025-08-20, co-led by Bezos Expeditions, Prysm Capital and Temasek with NVentures (NVIDIA), Intel Capital, BHP Ventures, Canaan, Emerson Collective and Khosla Ventures in, at a $2B valuation. A $700M round at a $10B valuation is reported to have a signed TERM SHEET and has NOT closed, so the map carries the $2B rather than the $10B - expect this mark to move roughly 5x when that round closes.
