Chicago company building Pathos Foundry, a platform that trains on real-world clinical and molecular patient data to pick drug targets and design trials, starting in oncology and now extending into neurology. The $3B is the post-money reported on a $237M Series E announced 2026-10-23 and led by Bristol Myers Squibb, up from $1.6B after the $365M Series D of May 2025. The round came with two commercial agreements announced the same day: BMS gets non-exclusive access to Pathos Foundry across its research and development portfolio plus three years of exclusive rights to use the platform for its neuroscience programmes, and Tempus AI will build a de-identified longitudinal dataset covering hundreds of thousands of patients with Alzheimer's disease and other neurological conditions, which Pathos licenses under a five-year agreement worth up to $55M. Tempus filed the data agreements on an 8-K on 2026-10-23. The $237M size and the $3B mark are press-reported (Axios, STAT) rather than company figures - the Pathos release announces the collaborations and the BMS lead without a valuation - so the mark stays `reported`.
