Passed 1 billion calls and more than a million developers by May 2026. The $50M Series B was led by Peak XV Partners with Microsoft's M12, Kleiner Perkins and Bessemer participating, taking total funding to $72M. Named enterprise customers include Amazon's Ring, which picked Vapi over 40 rivals to handle inbound questions about its smart-home security devices, plus Intuit, New York Life, ServiceTitan, Kavak and Instawork. The $500M mark is the weak leg: the company's own release announces the round and does not state a post-money, and the figure comes from TechCrunch's reporting of it.
