Fei-Fei Li's spatial intelligence lab: models that generate, reconstruct and simulate interactive 3D environments from text, image and video, plus robot learning and simulation. Its first product, Marble, generates persistent high-fidelity 3D worlds from image, video or text. On 2026-09-28 AMD agreed to acquire it in an all-stock deal valued at about $8.2B - the share count set by a ten-day VWAP of AMD stock before closing - with Li joining AMD as executive vice president and chief scientist reporting to Lisa Su. The close is expected by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. AMD was already an investor, from the $1B February 2026 round.
