Kuaishou's AI video-generation unit, carved out of the listed parent as Beijing Kling and now the best-capitalised video model company in China. Kuaishou confirmed on 2026-07-02 that investors had committed about RMB19B (~$2.8B) at a valuation of roughly $15B BEFORE the investment, with Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu and Abu Dhabi's BlueFive Capital among the backers and the parent's holding diluting to about 68%. Reuters reported on 2026-10-30 that Kuaishou had told the Hong Kong exchange the round was COMPLETE at about RMB19.8B (~$2.98B), with Kuaishou keeping two-thirds of the equity and 52.45% of the voting rights through its Lucky Labs vehicle; the final investors named are a unit of Hong Kong-listed Kingdee International (RMB300M), Gongqingcheng Junke (RMB200M) and a unit of Shanghai-listed MetaX (RMB100M), some of whom took over other investors' commitments and received redemption rights. The mark here is Bloomberg's $15B PRE-money, the only figure a reputable outlet attributes to the round: a post-money near $18B is widely repeated and was reportedly the figure Kuaishou said it expected once all 36 investors closed, but no party has restated it since the close, and this map does not compute a post nobody states. Bloomberg reported in October that Kling has retained CICC, Goldman Sachs and UBS for a Hong Kong listing of at least $1B as early as 2027, which would replace this hand mark with a ticker.
