Memory-first inference silicon: builds accelerators around commodity DRAM rather than HBM, on the argument that transformer inference is bandwidth- and capacity-bound rather than compute-bound.
Memory-first inference silicon: builds accelerators around commodity DRAM rather than HBM, on the argument that transformer inference is bandwidth- and capacity-bound rather than compute-bound. Its first-generation Atlas system is shipping - more than 50 racks deployed at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with Parasail reselling that capacity as its own inference service and Jump Trading and i3d.net as production customers. The next-generation Asimov chip swaps HBM for LPDDR5X, targets 288GB-2,304GB per accelerator at about 400W, and is planned for TSMC's N3P process with tapeout at the end of 2026 and production in H2 2027. Founded 2023 in Reno, Nevada; ~$1.1B raised in total.
