Notes

OCI became a major AI compute host on the back of huge OpenAI commitments. Signed a reported $7B five-year deal with TENCENT (2026-10-01) to lease it roughly 100,000 advanced AI chips across Oracle data centres in Southeast Asia, about 30% payable upfront - Tencent's largest-ever overseas compute agreement, and a route for a Chinese company to reach NVIDIA silicon it cannot buy at home.
