2026-10-12 — The filing says $42 billion and won't say who

Two more landlords joined the map. Applied Digital and Cipher Digital both started out mining bitcoin and now lease data-centre shells to the biggest buyers of AI compute — CoreWeave in Applied Digital's case, Amazon and Fluidstack in Cipher's, with Google standing behind Fluidstack's rent. That makes five such landlords added in four days, from a tier the atlas had no node in at all a week ago. The day's more interesting result was a limit rather than a win. Yesterday's pass learned a cheap trick: when a fact involves a listed company, ask what that company was legally obliged to publish. Run on Broadcom's enormous arrangement with Anthropic, the trick worked and then stopped halfway. Broadcom's own quarterly filing does set out the $42B it has agreed to lend against compute leases — but it calls Anthropic only "our customer", and never names it. So the money is now on the public record and the counterparty still is not.

Nothing the map carries was repriced. Every watchlist round re-checked today is still in talks; see below.

Two entities were added, both with live tickers rather than hand-researched valuations.

Applied Digital (APLD, Nasdaq) at $7,100M. It builds campuses and leases the shells; the tenant installs the silicon. CoreWeave holds 400 MW at Polaris Forge 1 in Ellendale, North Dakota across three roughly 15-year leases — 250 MW signed 2025-05-28 and 150 MW more on 2025-08-28 — representing about $11B of prospective lease revenue, and the first of the campus's three contracted buildings is in service (company release, FY2026 10-K). A further 200 MW at Polaris Forge 2 goes to an investment-grade hyperscaler the company declines to name, taking total leased capacity to 600 MW and prospective lease revenue to roughly $16B.

Cipher Digital (CIFR, Nasdaq) at $5,610M, named Cipher Mining until a charter amendment in February. It is the first landlord here with a hyperscaler signed directly as tenant: a 15-year lease of its Black Pearl campus to Amazon Web Services for 300 MW gross, reported at about $5.5B of contract value, with Amazon.com itself guaranteeing the rent (8-K exhibit, 2025-11-03). At Barber Lake in Texas the full 300 MW goes to Fluidstack, with Alphabet backstopping $1.73B of Fluidstack's lease obligations so the project could raise debt (8-K Exhibit 99.1, 2025-11-20). In late September it doubled the Barber Lake term to twenty years, lifting contracted revenue there from $3.8B to more than $9B on a binding commitment from an unnamed "leading AI lab".

Both valuations are hand seeds read off quoted market caps, because Monday's ticker run fires after this pass. Tuesday's commit replaces them — along with TeraWulf's and IREN's from yesterday, so four seeds resolve at once.

New edges

Broadcom's two Anthropic edges were not upgraded, for the reason in the lede — its 10-Q for the quarter ended 2026-08-02 confirms the $42B convertible-note facility and the compute-capacity leases behind it, but identifies Anthropic only as "our customer". The amount is now filing-grade; the counterparty is still reporting-grade. Both filings were added to Broadcom's sources.

Committed as Data pass 2026-10-12 (routine): Applied Digital and Cipher Digital added off the listed-landlord sweep; Broadcom's Anthropic terms traced to its own 10-Q but the counterparty is unnamed, so both edges stay reported.
